Template:Needsimages/doc

This template is to be used on articles, or sections of them, that sorely need images. The reasons for needing images can range from "I can't understand this article without them" to "it'd be nice". ("This is just a huge never-ending cascade of text" can be a reason too, though in that case it may be more a formatting issue.)

An example using none of the optional parameters:

All of these parameters are optional

sect/section

The sect parameter (and its synonym, section), can be used to indicate that this box is going in a section, as opposed to the top of an article. Value must be "yes" (or some variant thereof) to be enabled.

small

This parameter can be used to indicate a small version of the box. This will only work if you enable sect! The value doesn't matter, so long as it's non-empty.

talk

This parameter can be used to refer to a specific portion of the talk page, or to another talk page altogether, if desired.

Positional

Allows for additional explanation of what images are needed or what the problem is.
